Your role

The LHD workshop is now looking for an employee for the Malmberget underground mine.
The tasks include repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles such as LHD machines, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, and more. You will be responsible for maintaining mobile machines together with your colleagues, as well as assisting in development and preventive work so that our customers achieve their production goals with high availability. The work is carried out in our service workshop at level 1250 underground and out in the field. We provide vehicle-specific training to give you the best conditions to perform your work safely and efficiently.

What you bring

We are looking for someone who is self-driven in their work and has an easy time collaborating with others. The tasks are mostly performed in pairs, so it is important that you are willing to ask for advice, are helpful, and work towards common goals. You are an ambitious and meticulous person who wants to develop in your work. The work consists largely of troubleshooting machines, so you need to enjoy problem-solving and finding the most effective solutions. Safety always comes first, so it is important that you feel secure and have a strong safety mindset. We also expect you to have:

• Driver's license B for manual transmission (requirement)

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (requirement)

• Approved final grades from high school, preferably with a focus on vehicle technology

• or equivalent (requirement)

• Previous experience in maintenance of heavy vehicles and machines (meritorious)

• Experience with hydraulics and/or vehicle electronics (meritorious)

• Mines experience (meritorious)

Other information

Since work with thermosetting plastics occurs, an approved medical examination regarding work with allergenic products is also required.

Location: LKAB Malmberget mine

Scope: Permanent. Shift work morning, afternoon, off week.
